Water Control Unit
The entire unit is pre-assembled and pre plumbed for easy installation. Simply drop into the cutout in your countertop and connect the utility lines. The tall faucet is designed for your embalming machine to fit under the spout.

Utilities / Power

  • Provide 60-65 PSI water pressure and 4 GPM of flow for proper operation of hydro aspirator. Refer to owner’s manual for plumbing connection sizes.
  • 12-7/8” X 9-7/8” minimum and 13-1/8” X 10-1/8” maximum area for inlet plumbing to include the following: (1) cold water supply, 3/4”. (1) hot water supply, 1/2”. Supply shut off valves at each water supply.
  • (1) standard 1-1/2” waste line. Plumber to provide shut off valve for water connection and P-Trap for drain.

The left and right sides of Embalming Water Control Units (WCUs) are not interchangeable. They are manufactured as "left-hand" or "right-hand" configurations and must be ordered to specifically match your room's plumbing layout and the positioning of your embalming machine. 

Key Differences in Configuration

  • Tall Filler Spout: The gooseneck filler spout used to fill the embalming machine tank is rigidly installed on either the left or right side of the unit. Reversing the unit would make it impossible to reach the tank or hoses.
  • Aspirator & Water Controls: The hydro-aspirator, valves, and rinse hoses are plumbed directly for the designated approach direction.
  • Workflow & Countertop: Prep room ergonomics are mapped specifically to one side (left or right approach) so continuous workspace and drains remain clear.
